Give up on sleep
If it makes you smile.

Ignore how my wrist
Twists as I reach to type.

If you keep all
The nightmares away from me.

If you promise to
Hold me to you, love.

If you make it
Worth the sleep I'm losing.

I'll stay, if you'd like.
If you understand how
My love causes my suffering.

If you realize that
I'm dying inside, all alone.

If you stopped and
Saw how the caffeine burns.

I'll stay, if you'd like.
But I know that
You don't understand it hurts.

    Don't hurt yourself young lady, hopefully you have someone else to tell you this, but your health is the most important thing.
